As a Senior Advisor, James comes to Behr and Associates with a wealth of background in clean technology, energy efficiency and business sustainability. James was an owner of Summerhill, a Canadian leader in developing and implementing large scale energy efficiency programs for utilities and designing innovative social marketing campaigns for retailers. He has been responsible for developing and bringing to market some of the most innovative social marketing campaigns in Canada, Including Mow Down Pollution, Keep Cool and Flick Off.

Over the last 4 years, James has created and owned 3 companies including Transformative Technologies, Faraday Lighting and Eco-Generation Home Services. Previous to his work in energy efficiency, James worked for 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a variety of roles. He has written extensively in the past for publications such as IE Money Magazine and Investment Executive on Socially Responsible Investing and Biotechnology.
